Anything you would like to know.
These FAQs provide answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about Orms Se. For additional information, feel free to contact us.
Yes you can. The core of Orms Se uses c# net core 5.0 reflection engine to allow developers to interact with Orms Se processes. This means that key locations in the Orms Se core code, expose interfaces that can be implemented in custom code. These implementations are customer specific and can be anything as trivial as sending an email to excecuting complex code or displaying complex user interfaces.
The integration is all done through the API layer of Orms Se. These API's are secured with OAuth2 so they are 100% secure. These API's can be called from any legacy and non-legacy system and pass json or xml over the wire. If needed, a custom protocol can be injected in the runtime.
Orms Se can theoretically service an unlimited amount of data and clients as it is fully scalable due to a load balanced setup. No in memory data is retained during requests and all roundtrip session data is stored in the backend database. This allows for full load balancing in contradiction to the limited (read fake) sticky sessions. The data layer is based on one of the most per formant Orm mappers in the business. And no, it is not Entity Framework, nor Dapper or NHibernate:)
No. Orms Se is only available as a web application. We are however looking to release Orms in the new .NET 6.0 Blazor Desktop control, but no timing has been set.
The iOS supported version of the mobile app is in the pipeline and will depend on the prioritization of our clients.
No there is no trial version.
Orms Se is invoiced on a monthly or yearly basis.
Orms Se can support an unlimited amount of users through our load balanced servers.
The history of Orms goes back for more then 3 decades when a General Manager complained to us that he couldn't find the software that he needed to manage his business. Together with the fact that we had extensive knowledge of development processes, we decided to make Orms. The first version was release in back in the nineties in VB6 and it all evolved from there.
This is a question that we are asked frequently and is hard to give an answer to. What we can say is that by using Orms Se, you will get an objective and clear overview of your software. This way you can quickly add extra functionality on top of our framework and start making revenue instead of waiting for software development. Optimizing and developing good and per formant code is like bringing a puzzle together in the most optimal way. Orms Se helps the developer to do just that by providing him with the robust framework he needs.
Off course. The majority of our customers just use Orms Se as their day to day platform to manage their business. There is no need to extend anything as all the default needed components are there. Extending is just a way to match Orms Se to specific customer needs if needed.
Yes we can. We offer specialized developers that know the Orms Se platform inside and out. Just contact us and we will help you implement your requirements as requested.
